This is Marseille


we went to Marseille by train at this morning


Let's go~

we met a France man in the train
he asked us where to go
then told us, French people would choose to have a vacation in the quiet rural area
rather than in a populous city as Marseille
well, thanks for your suggestion :)

when we arrived in Marseille
we said farewell to this enthusiastic France man and went to old port by metro

we took ship to is island

the castle in is island

this castle had ever been a jail before
so, every room in it has been decorated as prison cell
and there is a brand on the door to tell visitors the well known prisoners who had been there before

although the castle has a notorious history
visitors could claim to the top floor ot the castle and see a beautiful the Mediterranean


after leaving is island, we chose a resturant selling bouillabaisse to eat lunch
the roasted chicken and french fries is very delicious

it was time to go to Arles


the station of Arles

because it was to late to arrive Arles
we only visit Arenes


it is not big, but attracts me a lot


Van Gogh drew the bull-fight in Arenes in Arles


residents still hold the bull-fight in Arenes now


we only saw the bull over here
