the plain in ProvenceAvignon is a quiet city before am 10:00
I like the leisurely atmosphere in this park at morning
if traveler buying the ticket of Palace of Popes, he can buy local tour with 10% discount
so, we bought a local tour including Pont du Gard, Les Baux de Provence, Cordes and Roussillonat the same time
the price of visitor taking picture with this man with ancient dress is free
and he can tell native chinese :D
the price of ticket includes borrowing a explaining machine
there were many travelers visited Palace of Popes with taking this machine
of course, I were one of them
because destoried by the French Revolution and a fire accident
there is only a little forniture in a big but empty house
I felt the palace majestical but cold
street performers in front of the door of Palace of Popes
the begining of July is Festival Avignon
it is very easy to sea the street performers in the main street of Avignon
these free shows of advertisement is good enough for us:)
the local tour left at midday
the first step was Pont du Gard
well, it is really huge but less impressive for me
nest step is Les Baux de Provence
the city is antique
but I bought soaps from Marseilles of great price
the third step is Cordes
is it as Minas Tirith, capital of Gondor?
is it as the Pelennor Fields?
well, it is in morden earth
it is Cordes and the fields around it
there was less visitor in this old-age city
from imformation center
I felt a little tired
we went up and down
roads in Cordes is narrow
the last step is Roussillonat
the clay of Roussillonat is full of iron, so it is red with different level
I am not very sure these grapes is real or not
we had a sunny day :)
by the way
I first saw the fresh lavender in Provence over there
we had passed by Cavaillon famous for melon
well, I have to say, the mellon (orange) eating in Provence is delicious :d
the driver of local tour is nice
when we came to Avignone
she took us in the nearest point to St-Bénezet Bridge
