cheers, Paris :)
10/07/07
we prepared to leave Avignon at afternoon
I felt more practiced about taking TGV with my big trunk
our goal is romantic capital, Paris
because we had a few time to visit the city
I only took the picture of church Saint-Germain-des-Prés
the oldest church in Paris
11/07/07
today is a chilly and grey day
the landlord said, the climate was abmornal,
it had never been as cold as this summer since she went to Paris
however, we still get up early
there was no other visitor in Palace of chaillot
except a couple of lovers
Palace of chaillot is the greatest point to take picture with Effel tour
Palace of chaillot
Effle tower (from Palace of chaillot)
the road to Effel tour was closed today
therefore, we tried other way to arrive Effle tower
Effle tower
travelor may choose to climb Effle tower by elevator or stairway
more people lined up for taking elevator
because it is quicker and easier
but it is more expensive
less people tried to take the stairs
we keep going, and passed by the Palace of chaillot
and esplanade des invalides
then, it was lunch time
I booked a famous but cheaper resturant with Michelin one star, L'Angle du Faubourg
we othered lunch menu, and I added a snack
I only knew the snack maybe a chocolate product...
Appetizers
the chief may add cheese in the souce
it is delious
soup
the soup is cold but not bad, and the middle of this soup is salmon flavor sorbit
entree
Filet mignon with soy sauce (I guess)
it was as the traditional Chinese dish, I like it
desert-lunch menu
ice cream with rashberry and blueberry flavor, it is so nice
desert-adding
the chocolate cake and ice cream with ginger and vanilla flavor
when I ate the cake with hot chocolate juice
I asked myself, did I go to haven?
on the other way
I have to say
the free bread provied by this resturant is the best bread I have ever eaten
someone said, there bread baked by traditional way
before we left, resturent provided four candies on our table
well, it was too sweat
When I finished the lunch, I was satisfied :)
and went to Musee National du Moyen Age-Thermes de Cluny
there are many pretty adornment
I stongly suggest someone likes refined adorment to visit this museum
buildings in the streets were also impressive
Le Panthéon
jardin du luxembourg is Ernest Miller Hemingway's favorite
many people sat breeaily on the chairs
I also enjoyed with them
it was almost dark
and we went to river seine to take Bateaux-Mouches
Pont Alexandre III
Orsay Museum
Pont Neuf
Pont Neuf
unknowen structure
Effle tour, it was so romantic
